About The Area
Pilton is a pretty and sought after Somerset village in beautiful countryside between Wells, Glastonbury and Shepton Mallet. The major towns of the area being Bristol, Bath, Taunton and Yeovil are all within commuting distance and there are excellent road networks to London and the South. Castle Cary is the nearest train station with fast links to London. Wells, the smallest city in England, nestles close to the Mendip Hills - an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty-has excellent local markets twice a week and many medieval buildings including the Cathedral and moated Bishops Palace. Nearby, Glastonbury grew up alongside the Abbey and is a thriving major tourist area.

It has an fireplace with an original range and also the staircase to the first floor.Approached from the sitting room is the kitchen which has a sink unit and cupboards, painted stone walls and a door to the rear garden.Off the kitchen is the bathroom with a hand basin, wc and bath.Upstairs is the bedroom with beams and partly sloping ceilings.

Both cottages are south facing with pretty front and rear gardens.

Directions
Take the lane downhill opposite the pub in the centre of the village. Pass the church and then continue up the small hill into Bread Street. Pass the entrance to Ford Lane on your left and the property is a short distance along on the left hand side.
