Property Description

Have you ever imagined living in an impressive country house where you can lounge around the pool on a warm summer day or perhaps enjoy a game of tennis with friends? Well, now's your chance to have your very own slice of idyllic rural living. Situated in a pleasant semi-rural area and set well back from the road, the charming apartment is on the second floor of this large house which has been converted into just six apartments. The beautiful main entrance hall with its open fireplace welcomes you into the house with a timber staircase leading to the upper floors.

On entering the apartment, you won't fail to be impressed by the far reaching views from the lounge, across the chestnut trees and over the fields to the surrounding countryside beyond. The kitchen feels really airy with its large Velux window letting in lots of light. Stepping down from the landing into the main bedroom, the refurbished en-suite shower room is a real winner whilst the second bedroom could be used as a dining room if preferred.

Tismans Common is only a mile from Rudgwick village centre where you'll find local shops, a Post Office, medical centre and both primary and prep schools. A traditional country pub is within a short walk and there's plenty of glorious countryside on your doorstep to explore. Horsham is around 7 miles away and offers more extensive shopping and amenities together with a mainline station.

What the Owner says:
When we moved in around 28 years ago, the house had only just been converted into apartments and we were the first to move in - we felt as if we owned the whole place!

There's a real community spirit amongst all the residents and we often have barbecue parties around the swimming pool in the summer months which we really enjoy. In the winter, our meetings are held around the log fire in the communal hall - very cosy!

Now that our daughter has grown up, we are looking for a change but we will miss all the wonderful years we've spent in this fantastic home.
