Property Description

This beautiful family home, nestled in the heart of Horsted Keynes, is situated in a quiet rural village location with fantastic views over playing fields.

The vendors are currently installing a brand new central heating system throughout the house.

Sitting in the garden with the wisteria and roses in bloom and the sound of birdsong in the air, it's easy to imagine the summer and autumn, spent relaxing in this wonderful environment.

As the winter months draw in, you can sit back and unwind in front of the wood burner to keep the chill off your toes! There is also bedroom four which could be used as a study. The kitchen is a generous size and from the dining room, steps lead down to the cellar which is the perfect place for a log store, playroom or even a gym.

There are three good sized bedrooms and the family bathroom on the first floor and there are stairs up to the useable loft space, again ideal for a hobbies room, study, or children's playroom. The choice is yours!

Currently the owners are using the double garage as a workshop, but if you needed parking space then it can be easily transformed back to its more conventional use.

It is such a quiet place to live and ideal, being within walking distance of all the village amenities and Ashdown Forest for Sunday afternoon strolls.

What the Owner says:
We've lived here for over 36 years. When we first bought the property it was originally a two-up two-down house, but over the years have transformed it into a lovely family home. It's been an ideal location for family life with plenty of countryside walks from the back gate into beautiful surroundings and excellent schools.

In the village there are plenty of societies from Rainbows through to Brownies for the children and a tennis club, cricket club and even a stoolball club for everyone.

We are moving out of the area to be nearer our grandchildren, but will miss our many friends in the village and this beautiful area.
