Property Description
Tenure: Freehold
A very well presented split level bungalow which has been extended over the years to offer over 2100 sq.ft of family living space. A flexible floorplan provides the opportunity for an annexe should a buyer have dependent relatives or need space for a multi-generational family.
A gated, sweeping drive leads up to the home which is tucked away and out of site from the road. Leading past a well stocked and lawned front garden the drive opens to provide ample parking for a number of cars. The entrance porch opens to an entrance hall which provides access to two double bedrooms a family bathroom and a large, dual aspect second reception room which could be used as a fifth bedroom.
At the heart of the home is a large kitchen/dining/sitting room with two sets of bi-fold doors which open out to a private patio courtyard. The kitchen has a range of white shaker style cabinets with a solid wood worktop. The cabinets house an inset double oven, induction hob (with concealed ceiling mounted extractor) bowl and a half sink and dishwasher. Gold handles and tap offer a nice contrast. There is a good sized and very useful pantry cupboard as well as a food preparation area with glass fronted display cabinets. The adjacent dining area is well lit with a glazed lantern rooflight above. This room is also large enough to have a comfortable seating area encouraging the whole family to congregate together.
To the rear of the kitchen is a utility room with ample storage and space for a freestanding fridge/freezer. To the far end of the house is a snug, currently used as a cinema room a shower room and a large double bedroom with a door leading out to the rear garden.
Finally, stairs lead up to a large (37 ft. x 11ft) bedroom with Velux windows in the eaves.
It would be very straightforward to create an annexe in the eastern wing of the house. It has its own access and could easily be configured to offer 2 bedrooms, kitchen, shower-room and a reception room.

Located at the head of the Carrick Roads, the surrounding countryside is exquisitely beautiful, much being within the ownership of the National Trust.
