The village hall hosts a variety of classes and groups such as Pilates, art groups, yoga, play group and coffee mornings. Williton, 3 miles, has a range of independent shops, a bank, hospital, butchers, restaurant and post office. The seaside resort of Minehead is 8.5 miles and offers a good range of shops and schools and the county town of Taunton, 18 miles, has several independent schools and fast road and rail links to Exeter, Bristol and London (from 1 hour 40 minutes).
