The immediate surroundings are very leafy and green, and it forms part of a gated community of just six executive homes, so it's very safe and secure and feels far removed from the everyday hustle and bustle of life. However, I can jump in the car and be in Chigwell town centre in under ten minutes or hop on the Central Line and be in the city centre in next to no time so it's really convenient. There are also some great schools in the local area so it's been a fantastic place to raise my family.


I love the fact that the house forms part of this very smart gated community, which has been ideal for the children because not only do they have a nice-size garden to enjoy, but they could play outside in a very safe environment. There's also a really nice feeling of community amongst the neighbours, we get together from time to time and if we go away I always know that there's someone keeping an eye on the place.

I enjoyed the process of building this house so much that I've decided to do it again and that's the only reason I'm moving. I'm very proud of this house, it's a lovely family home and I've no doubt its new owners are going to love living here.
