Highfield Lane has been such a happy home for us since we move in, in 2003.
Downstairs we have made our front reception room our movie room which is really cosy at night to watch films with the fire on. Our dining room also has a fireplace in and that room has been great for having people over for meals. We have renovated our kitchen and at the back we have a utility/washroom.
Upstairs we currently have two huge bedrooms and a bathroom, however, there is the option to put a stud wall in the middle bedroom to create a corridor straight to the bathroom. Although, if we were staying we would change the upstairs layout into three bedrooms and a family bathroom in the middle. There is so much potential to upstairs to make it your own.
Our garden is one of our favourite parts of the property. We have put a bar, swimming pool and gazebo into the 100ft garden and have enjoyed so many great parties here. The location was also a selling point to us originally, it's a couple of minutes to the A404 which links onto the M4 and M40 motorways. There is a bus stop opposite that takes you to Maidenhead Town Centre via Wessex Way shops which has everything we need to survive without going to a big shop and some great local takeaways. We highly recommend The Frying Squad for fish and chips! We will be very sad to leave but our whole family is looking to move to North Devon
