***VENDOR COMMENTS*** "We have loved this house and it has been our home for 24 years. My husband first moved here in 1996 followed by myself, three children, a dog, guinea pigs, snake and stick insects!

We first fell in love with the house because of the the spacious, light & airy rooms along with the secure private garden (especially in the summer when the trees have their leaves). We have extended upwards and made two additional spacious bedrooms and a second bathroom on the top floor. I love the fact we have two living rooms and it was a godsend when the children were teenagers. They could sit in the back room with their friends with patio doors open, making use of all the space, while we could have peace and quiet in the front room - Ha!

We love the location for the excellent schools and the transport is fantastic, with bus stops and Purley Oaks train station all a minute's walk away. We have Croydon and Purley in walking distance for all our shopping, entertainment and dining needs (we have found some great restaurants over the years). We even have our own park at the end of the road and it's just a five minute drive to the beautiful open space of Riddlesdown...who could ask for more!

This really is a lovely neighbourhood with a real sense of community as everyone is friendly and helpful - we even have our own Whatsapp group.

This is an ideal family home, not just for the size of the house but also for the area. We have all made good use of the transport links into London whether commuting for work or entertainment.

We have had a large garage/workshop built at the end of the garden which we used as a base for our business of selling and repairing office equipment. The back access that runs behind our garage has been invaluable for deliveries and access for when we are having works or visitors to the house. We also kept our classic car in the garage section.As well as the garage to the rear, there is off street parking for two cars with an electric charging point we have found useful for our car.

This house is so versatile and has lots more potential, a ground floor extension would be an easy addition. This has been a happy home for a family of 5 and numerous animals over the years, and we will be sorry to leave. Our children have grown and although we have grandchildren coming to stay, this house is just too big for just the two of us and we would love another family to enjoy this home and all it has to offer.

So we are off topasturesnew; just the two of us travelling and hopefully settling in Ireland, a complete change of scenery with chickens and donkeys!".
